back-to-school, back-to-school *insert adam sandler voice*
tomorrow’s the big day. 8 hours from now i’ll be employed.
here are some things i’m praying:
- that i’ll be aware of and responsive to the Holy Spirit.
- that God will reveal to me the people he wants me to influence.
- that people will see Jesus in me.
- that my days are not wasted.
- that i have a spirit of humility and thankfulness, not frustration or
disappointment.
- that i will be obedient to what God’s called me to do for now, so He can
trust me to be obedient with more later.
- that i won’t want more later, but will be focused on how i can impact the
Kingdom THIS day.
- that i glorify Him in my actions, conversations, and all that i do.
- and that i have the strength and ability (that doesn’t come from me!) to
represent Him well.
maybe this kicked my tail.
good thing, i needed it.
what are you praying today? how can i pray for you?

You know, I am praying for you and the Moon team adjusting to Mom working away from home. I am proud of you and love you.

I’ll be praying for you…I know this isn’t how you wanted things to go down, but I know you know He has a plan…and since He’s way smarter than we are I can’t wait to see what He’s going to do with this time in your life. love you!

Rebecca…I read your post often, but never really comment on anything, but many times your posts have encouraged and uplifted me. I just wanted to say that I feel some sort of your pain and have been dreading going back to my teaching job in 2 weeks! I just want to stay home and be a mom, but this post just reminded me that God wants to use me there…and being away from my baby will not be useless- He has a plan and people in my life that need Him…I need to be obedient and JOYFUL about that- all the while my heart is with my baby…keep the posts and encouraging words coming!

Girl! I’ll be praying for you. Will you pray for Jeff as he is the ONLY math teacher at his school (walton alternative school) and kids start tomorrow! Exciting…nerveracking…crazy! Just pray for him the same things you pray for you, please. I am praying for both of you!
Will you pray for me that i’ll trust the Lord. And like you said…not want more but be faithful to what he has given so far?! Thats my desire.
