We’d like to introduce you to…
our SON.

We’re already in awe of him. Today at the perinatologist they zoomed in on his heart…you could see all four chambers, the major veins, the directions of bloodflow…and I couldn’t help but thinking how amazing hearts are, not only physically, but in the fact that Jesus will live in his heart as well. The physical and spiritual are so intricately and mysteriously intertwined. I’d been excited before, but as we watched the doctor count his individual fingers and toes, and check all of his organs, and show us his perfect little lips and nose and face, and as we watched him swallow…I was amazed. Speechless. Not only that God creates life, but that He does it with such precision, and that He’s entrusted us to take care of His precious little boy. BOY. Haha. Not sure what to do with a boy, but I’m looking forward to figuring it out! We are so very thankful…
And so are his big sisters!!!

Wow!! That’s a powerful statement, Rebecca. Your Daddy and I pray for you, Nick and the girls everyday and now we add a precious Grandson. We are ALL fearfully and wonderfully made and so very blessed to be family. We love you - all FIVE!

You are going to LOVE having a little boy! It’s a blast. What a fantastic photo! How many weeks are you now?? My pics weren’t nearly as good at 18 weeks, but I have another ultrasound scheduled in Feb…might be better then (although I suspect it has more to do with the machine and who is operating it b/c I have awesome pics of Ty when I was only 16 weeks…).

He is precious. The fact that you can grow a whole other person inside you is SO FREAKING AMAZING. I have actually done it and I can still barely believe it. A whole person(!), just teeny tiny. God is awesome.

I can hardly type this because of the tears in my eyes seeing “Little Nick”. I promise I will try not to call him that after he’s born! I am so excited and Thank God for his many, many blessings.
