It’s hard to believe our sweet baby girl turned two today. We had a fabulous time celebrating with her! The day started off with special birthday pancakes, from scratch. They were delicious!

After lunch we took her to ride the “horsies” at the mall. She loved it! And I suppose we’ll never be able to eat in the food court again without her wanting to ride… The pictures aren’t that great (because I think all the lights and mirrors were tricking the autofocus on my camera) but she had a lovely time.

Following a lengthy nap, Miss T got to go swimming with her daddy, which is one of her favorite things to do! She was so excited to wear her new big girl life jacket, and she’s apparently inherited her dad’s sense of adventure.

We filmed some fun clips from the day, which I hope to edit and post tomorrow.
Happy Birthday, Tanner!
We love you so much.

That was fun yesterday except when I went on the T-cup part of the caresole and almost puked because of eating steak right before.

How can she be two already? She is so cute! Looks like a fun bday. Becca, how did you make those pancakes? You never cease to amaze me. I wish I had half of your skills! I want to meet Jax and see the girls…when are we getting together?! Put some pressure on Liz…she wanted to be in charge. I can host at my house if you guys are willing to venture into the big bad city

Hi Jos! We’d love to see you! I’ll talk to Liz and give you a call.
As for the pancakes…I actually put the batter into a decorator icing bag and squirted it onto the griddle that way. It was a little precarious and I cheated and evened up some of the edges with a little knife. I made them for Tanner AND Katelynn, and I’m glad Jax has a short name…it takes a while!
